Lightcore

Lightcore Animation is an independent, director-led animation studio founded by three creators with backgrounds in animation, storytelling and creative production. Two of our co-founders hold Bachelor’s degrees in Animation Production from the University of Technology Sydney, bringing a full-pipeline foundation in animation and visual storytelling.

We wear many hats — directors, animators, writers, designers, and problem solvers. Today, we combine our animation background with emerging AI technologies to build a new, AI-native approach to animation production.

Our work spans original animated films, IP development, visual development and animation production. We are currently developing Eden-02, our first original AI-assisted animated IP and the testing ground for the Lightcore AI Animation Pipeline.

At Lightcore, we believe technology should expand what creators can imagine, not replace the reason behind creation. We create because we have stories to tell, worlds to explore, and something meaningful to express.

光核动画

光核动画（Lightcore Animation）是一家由三位拥有动画、故事创作与视觉制作背景的创作者共同成立的独立导演驱动型动画工作室。其中两位联合创始人毕业于悉尼科技大学（UTS）动画制作专业，接受了涵盖动画制作全流程与视觉叙事的系统训练。

我们身兼多职——导演、动画师、编剧、设计师，也是不断解决问题的创作者。如今，我们在传统动画专业能力的基础上，结合快速发展的生成式AI技术，建立属于Lightcore自己的AI原生动画制作方式。

我们的创作涵盖原创动画、IP开发、视觉开发与动画制作。目前，我们正在开发首部原创项目《Eden-02》。它既是Lightcore的第一个原创AI动画IP，也是我们建立与验证Lightcore AI Animation Pipeline的第一块试验田。

我们相信，技术应该拓展创作者能够想象和实现的边界，而不是取代创作本身的意义。我们创作，是因为我们有故事想讲，有世界想探索，也有真正想表达的东西。

在光核动画，我们相信动画不仅是画面，而是一颗心跳，一声笑语，或是一个让人停下思考的瞬间。这就是我们想要传递给世界的“光”。

FILM — We tell stories

We create animated films driven by story, character and direction. From short films to AI-assisted productions, we combine animation expertise with emerging technology to bring ambitious stories to life.

我们以故事、角色与导演思维为核心创作动画电影。从原创短片到AI辅助制作，我们将动画专业能力与新兴技术结合，把更大胆的故事真正带入现实。

IP — We build worlds

We build original characters, stories and worlds designed to live beyond the screen. From the first idea to a complete visual identity, we develop IP with the potential to grow across film, media, culture and experiences.

我们创造能够超越屏幕持续发展的原创角色、故事与世界。从最初的创意到完整的视觉体系，我们开发具有延展潜力的原创IP，使故事能够进入动画、媒体、文化与沉浸式体验等更多领域。

Technology is changing the way animation is made.

For us, AI is not the end of the creative process. It is a new tool for expanding what creators can imagine, explore and bring to life.

We believe the value of animation does not come from technology alone. It comes from the stories we choose to tell, the worlds we choose to build, and the emotions we choose to share.

We create because we have something to express.

We use technology to make it possible.

We envision Lightcore as a new generation of animation and IP studio — combining the craft of animation, the thinking of directors and storytellers, and the possibilities of AI-native production.

Our ambition is to grow from a small creative team into a studio that develops and owns original animated films, characters and worlds, while collaborating with brands, filmmakers and cultural partners around the world.

We believe the next generation of animation will not be defined by the size of a studio, but by the ideas it can bring to life. AI gives small teams the ability to create at a scale once reserved for large productions.

Our long-term vision is to build a creative ecosystem where animation, original IP, technology and culture can grow together — creating stories that live beyond the screen.
